While working in the office of one of the largest logistics companies in the Netherlands, I observed that employees were performing repetitive tasks every day, often rushing and making human errors. I began by observing their processes, learning their tasks, and identifying areas for automation. I then developed programs that could perform these tasks faster and more accurately.

I also noticed that even the largest international logistics companies had not automated processes in their departments and offices. In just one month, I developed three programs that automated the tasks of two office employees. That was my first realization of the need in this area.

Through short-term observation and learning, I discovered that the speed of processing each returned box at the Returns Department could be increased by 37%. Considering the company received over 100,000 boxes in their returns department, that represented significant potential savings.
